Dr. Blaudeau is currently a practicing attorney and an OBG/GYN in the state of Alabama. Prior to becoming an attorney, he established himself as a top physician and surgeon in private practice. His years of medical and legal experience have provided him with the ability to not only identify when medical malpractice takes place, but to also expertly understand how to handle each individual case.
Dr. Blaudeau graduated from Birmingham Southern College in 1981 and then went on to medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating with a medical degree in 1987. He completed his residency at Tulane University and went into private practice in 1991.
After several years caring for patients who had suffered complications as the result of other’s malpractice, Dr. Blaudeau decided he wanted to do more to help. Dr. Blaudeau received his law degree from the Birmingham School of Law in 1998, after which he established the Southern Institute for Legal and Medical Affairs to advocate for physicians’ and patients’ rights. Dr. Blaudeau is a fellow in the American College of Legal medicine has been associated with the law firm of
Riley & Jackson P.C. since 2001. There he focuses on medical malpractice, healthcare litigation, and healthcare business development.
