On 10.4.2012 I had a migrated Hem-O-Lok clip removed from my Urethera (Dr. Lovett Wilm. N. C.)The radiolucent foreign device was in my body as the result of robotic surgery in Chapel Hill, NC (Dr. Wallen) on 7.15.2008 to remove my cancerous prostate. I had one BNC in Feb. ’09, subsequent radiation Aug./Sept. ’09 because of a positive margin (radiation oncologist Dr. Nichols in Wilm. NC) and what was supposed to be a BNC on 10.4.2012 which resulted in discovery of the clip and the BNC was completed as well as the surgical removal of the clip. Clip is in custody of local hospital for the moment because of perceived chain of custody reasons.
